In the software you can assign many different actions to each unique foot pedal. Keyboard/Mouse/String/Multimedia/Game.
PC sees the pedals as an additional keyboard. The software used to set up the pedals does not need to be running once you have them set up to the keys you want. You can map via the USB keyboard or virtual keyboard within the program.
It has options for single(press) trigger or continuous trigger, Single Key or Multikey comninatoin ,from either depression or release of the pedals. Can do any key combo needed as well, this will work in most situations for whatever you want it to do.
Default Setting is Press (Single)Trigger.

Continuous Trigger===Presses it on release
